me too, I suddenly start sobbing out of nowhere. I had not cried for like 9 years. Then in 2021, I started frequently crying from beautiful dreams with my Japanese sweetheart. And then some months later, I discovered this OST, and sob multiple times as well from it.
For me, Trials of Mana took it from "a really cool track in Seiken Densetsu 3" to one of my favourite pieces of music ever. So stirring, majestic, and beautiful! I definitely get the chills too...
I love this OSt. So many different vibes throughout. I was reminded of like 4 to 5 other games while listening to these themes. Huge props to the composer(s) for doing what the do best! Both the original and the remake are awesome.
Man, I need to replay this. Growing up, Secret of Mana was one of my absolute favorite games. I think at some point I tried emulating the SNES version of this game, but there was no translation so of course I didn't get anywhere. So when this came out I loved it. It somehow made me nostalgic for a game I'd never played, and the OST was a big part of that.
@@MazokuJun Yeah, I think I was aware of that, but back when I mentioned I tried to play it, that didn't exist yet. Then the game just fell off my radar, even with hearing about the translation. So this version bringing the game back into the spotlight was perfect for me.
I've never heard about the mana games before learning about that remake. The story, characters, and gOD the OSTs are so good, remixed AND Original tracks. It has that "old time" touch from retro games that I love. That game made me become a huge lover of the mana games !

This game was so fun to play, it brought back nostalgia feelings even though i never played this one until the remake (always did listen to the ost for years, so that could be why xD) Either way, just love the whole OST still even with the remade tunes ♥

I love the electric guitar used in the remixed version of Obsession, particularly since it gets a lot of airtime when going through Illusory Altena in Anise’s Stockade after finishing the main quest.
It would be great is someone would have each individual track in a playlist, for some reason after a few years I still haven't found a Trials of Mana Remake soundtrack playlist

2 minutes into "Where Angels Fear to Tread" when the main Mana theme kicks in is still pure magic. I love the bombast of it.

There was a fan translated version, they needed to keep the names short because of the 6 character limit but otherwise kinda faithful to the origin.
